• Master’s degree in Microbiology, Botany, Commerce, or Psychology (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories as per UGC norms).
• Candidates with UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SET/GATE/JRF/ICAR/ICMR or equivalent are exempted from the entrance test.
• Conducted by the University as per guidelines.
Syllabus:
o 50% Research Methodology o 50% Subject-specific questions
• Qualifying marks: 50% (45% for reserved categories)
• Shortlisted candidates based on PET or exemption criteria appear for an interview.
• Final selection is based on:
o 70% Entrance Test Score
o 30% Interview Performance
• Minimum: 3 years (including coursework)
• Maximum: 6 years (extendable as per UGC norms up to 8 years; 10 years for women and PwD candidates).
• Academic transcripts (UG, PG)
• Identity proof
• Reservation certificate (if applicable)
• Research proposal (as per guidelines)
